lots of sad posts lately. august is the month that has the most weddings in the USA. and somehow, a lot of my friends are posting sad stuff. so i figured i should post some sad quotes.

the slackers sound so nyc/east coast/not west coast. it's amazing. do they really think they sound like ska or reggae? it's obvious that they're heavily influenced by ska and reggae, but it just sounds like a rock band playing the music.

we have recordings of this music. these guys don't sound like those recordings. hepcat does.

don't get me wrong, they are a great band. great musicians,and they put on a pretty good show too. it's just that they should be able to sound more authentic.

So today I was killing myself with pills and razors, and I realized if I typed out some song lyrics, I wouldn't kill myself....if you all comment. I'm so ugly, and fat. Luckily, I hit me head on the wall 20 times in order to become more attractive, but I'm still as ugly as emo kids.

toured the US with the Israelites this last week. Lotsa misfortune and stuff. And driving for 40 hours straight is really good.

Chicago is a really pretty city. Lots of brick buildings, which is ok because they don't have earthquakes. I met Chuck Wren (www.jumpuprecords.com) and chilled all night on saturday with Richie Senior, a.k.a. Dr. Ring Ding. Original rude boy style BDTTTTTT!

And....I met the guitarist for the new reggae project. He's into it and he knows many people. It's gonna happen ashley!

TOnight, pop_thetrunk and I did a radio show. Later ON, shim_sham came in and helpED us Out. We did TRibute to TraVeling and going places and fjklsdds;a, seeing as WE were TRaveLing throuGH Atascadero. We plAyed a lot OF clASSic rock and then some Reggae. We kept it burning with soulful reggae and some ska, and had big dance party. i thought i saw _cerise_ the other day, but I'm slightly blind in the very center of both of my eyes, so I coUld Be Wrong.

Also, we played a song on 107.7 fm that really sums up in a very deep/depressed way how i feel about life/cheese.

so i was traveling around downtown atascadero last night, and i noticed the video rental place "Video Palace" had it's sign in poor condition...maybe due to the recent earthquake...anyways, in big letters above the store front it said "VIDEO PAL" and i thought to myself ,"Nope i need NTSC, this isn't non-france europe."
HA! then i told this to some people and they just stared at me with a really annoyed look. you know , where their eyes are half-open and it looks like they are trying to drool a bit.

i got my sex back today, its all adjusted and i tested it out and its good. the action is great, and its smooth all the way from bottom to top. my hands fit around it a lot better now, i think it might have been bent before. and its just such a joy to blow now, its like i don't have to put in any effort into blowing and this sweetness just oozes out of it. well, i'm off to polish the tube now.
